Hi Guys,

Just before Xmas I went to power up my imac which is a late 2013 model and to my horror, nothing happened. I did all the normal checks; such as trying different power cords, fuses, trying a different socket, nothing worked.

Phoned Apple as I'm covered with Applecare and they ran through a few things with me but still wouldn't power on do they arranged to pick it up and send it to a repair centre. It got to the repair centre & they said the imac powered on fine but went straight to an operating system installation screen - which I thought was odd as I couldn't get the thing to boot up. They ran tests on it and couldn't find anything else wrong with it so sent it back to me with the latest operating system installed.

I received the machine back on Xmas Eve and it booted absolutely perfectly and it has been fine until today. Last night the last thing I did was put it to sleep and then today when I've come in from work, it won't boot. I probably pressed the button about 10x trying to get it on but nothing until about 2 minutes later after I'd sat down it booted to the apple logo - then turned off straight away. It kept doing this until I got my phone out and started recording - two videos below uploaded to my website so I have evidence to show Apple.

Does anybody know what might be wrong with my imac? I thought it's power related, maybe a faulty PSU?
