Any iMac Pro 2017 owners noticed the discolouration around the edges? Like a slight magenta cast esp on the left/right edge of the screen more so than the top/bottom?

Is that part of any repair program? My iMac Pro is not under Apple Care.

I’d take to Apple and see what they say.

Cheers, I thought I’d check here first before making a booking @ the Genius Bar.

The 2015 iMac is notorious for developing severe pink edges. I am not aware that other iMac years had this problem (or at least not nearly as bad.) I have not seen a satisfactory fix other than screen replacement.

Have you checked that the magenta hue is not just simply because you are viewing the left and right edges at an angle?

if the magenta hue is just slight, I suspect you will discover that it is not worth the considerable cost of replacing the screen (or the risk of a DIY screen replacement).

Good luck and let us know what Apple says.

I had my 2015 27" screen replaced twice for magenta with apple care, guy came to my house. First one lasted a year and came back. Second one was ok still after 15 months when sold it a month ago.
