My iMac Pro would freeze randomly, after updating to anything Catalina or newer (Ventura now), no problems with Mojave but nothing works with this system and I have to upgrade. Forced restart is needed to resolve until the next freeze.

It sometimes happens when sharing screen and my friends said they saw statics, but audio, microphone and music are working. That sounds like a GPU failure (Vega 56)?

Does anyone who has iMac Pro 2017 encountered this issue? What version are you running?

Sounds like you have some Catalina or Ventura incompatible software or system extensions installed.

I don't know the specifics of this problem, but this is what I'd do personally:
1. Make sure you've backed everything up
2. Erase All Content and Settings
3. Install Mac OS Sequoia
4. Call Apple Support if the issue still persists

I have no issues with my iMac Pro. So hard to say what is causing it
