Imac pro on sale at Best Buy

$4,199.99 is $50 less than the Apple Refurb Store without the fiction that Apple uses of calling those surplus base models "refurbished" when they are not.
That's pretty sweet. The closest iMac (i9 32GB 1TB Vega-48) is $50 more unless you get the 8GB model and buy 32GB from OWC — then that i9 is $179 less.
Some real world apps will run better on the faster i9 CPU while others will take advantage of the Vega 56 and quad-channel RAM of the iMac Pro which is why I went with it.
Anyway, there are two solid choices for about the same money. A 2018 Mini i7 6 core with a 5K monitor will cost $3,898. Ok, it's $301 less but the lower performance CPU and way lower performance GPU does not make it a bargain in my book.
