Hey guys, have you issues with random watchdog reboots when the computer goes to sleep? This happened on my 2019 16" MBP, now the same thing on this computer after the Big Sur update! Any help would be great, thanks!

I just submitted a bug report for my 16" MacBook Pro - it watchdogs on shutdown pretty often. Hoping there's some improvement in 11.2.

This was a big issue with Catalina and I spent time discussing with Apple that confirmed it was an issue with the OS itself as no other OS had the problem (Mojave, Windows) and it never happened when I had an eGPU set up with Catalina. It is mostly GPU related and it was the GPU drivers itself. It was finally fixed on Catalina update 10.15.5. My bet that did not include that fix with Big Sur codebase. Hopefully the next update fixes it.

Darn it, that sucks. This has not happened until recently. I want to say people said to turn off graphics switching on the MBP 16, that helped for me. Any trick here?

If its the same situation as I experienced, an eGPU will work until the OS gets patched. Do you have a secondary monitor connected?
