Hi there,

I just got a new iMac 21.5 (2012) refurbished and I would like to know if this machine comes with Magic Mouse or Magic Mouse 2. Is there any way to find it using the serial number?

Regards

What year is it?

2012.

OP: they didn't come with Magic Mouse 2 as standard -- MM2 was only introduced a couple years ago. Even if it's an Apple refurb (unlikely due to its age), I'd still wager it would come with the original Magic Mouse.

This mouse is included:

The one with the 2 x AA Batteries.

Sorry, I totally missed the year. I'm with you though. If it's not 2015 or later, you won't get the MM2.

Refurbished normally comes with whatever mouse and keyboard came with it originally - read that Mac's specific product description to be sure, sometimes there are surprises. The 2012's came with the first-generation Magic Mouse and the Wireless Keyboard (replaceable batteries in both).

Thank you for your answers.

I was wondering because three other refurbished iMacs (exactly the same models) were sold with the Magic Mouse 2 and the latest keyboard.
