iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) and USB SDD Time Machine ejected

Not sure if is an issue on the new iMac or with Big Sur but several times a day I get a notice because Time Machine SSD has been ejected

The SSD is connected directly to my iMac via USB and is inside a USB case

Any idea of what it can cause this issue?
Any way to check for TM backup integrity, I'm array that the backup may corrupt
