Hi Guys, Is it a possibility that Apple could make the iMac 27 into a giant iPad pro in terms of the pencil touch screen? I had a Wacom 27 Cintiq and how amazing would it be if Apple made the iMac able to use the Apple Pencil!! The 12.9 iPad Pro is just too small for me to use as a drawing device and its heavy and cumbersome ( Plus the fact i hate iPads). They would just need to put the iMac screen on a different base so it could articulate like the Wacom Ergostand. Would be amazing i reckon to draw on a 5k screen! Any chance this could happen or is there some technical reasons that it could not be possible?

I would HATE to have smudges on the screen! how awful would that be!
Also, try to hold up your hand to the screen for more than 1 second.. It Sucks!!

That's why I say it need to be on an articulated base like the Wacom Ergostand! So it can lay almost flat and you could draw on it.

I absolutely love the idea of a touch screen on my Surface Pro, it makes the computer that much more useful. I cannot see that utility extending to the desktop. I actually have an AIO computer that is touch screen and its nice from time to time to touch the screen to move, or select something but I can see arm fatigue being an issue. Plus I noticed on occasion in helping my kids out for home work, I (or even them) accidentally touch the screen to point to something and that initiates an unintended action.

I was really thinking more along the lines that it would be great for artists like the Cintiq 27 and using the Apple Pencil.

Until Apple make a 27 inch iPad you are waiting for something that will never happen, a lot of manufacturers have tried similar products but they really aren't being bought by general consumers. Apple makes products for the majority not the specialist users and that won't change anytime soon.
