Hey all...
The specs on my RevA iMac are as follows:
1.8ghz processor
1.5gb RAM
17" LCD with Dual Display setup...
Now, I notice that my idle temp hovers right around 160 degrees Fahrenheit... which is about 78 degrees Centigrade. This seems a bit high, as hot air is constantly coming out of the back of it... or is this normal?
In any case I really don't want to damage the components and it seems keeping the computer on constantly at this temperature posts a risk for it
Am I just worrying too much or is this a bit excessive?
Also are dashboard widgets supposed to always take up RAM? All of my widgets take up a fair share of ram (about 30mb's each), and I was wondering if this would increase the temperature as well.
Thanks in advance,
Ken
