Well since i have been back at uni since september my iMac is struggling to handle anything i do in illustrator, trying to do some work right now which is just text and illustrator made vectors and i just get not enough RAM errors even just trying to move the design... after shutting down and restarting i still get the same thing, its really annoying as i always thought macs were meant to be faster and smoother than PCs >.< but back when i designed on my PC i never had this with anything i done...

Any help or suggestions? I didnt really use it for about 4 months or so for any designing over the summer but i dont see how it could effect it much.

It is a 24" iMac, 3.06ghz intel core 2 duo, 4gb ram
