Hi all, thought I should join to say hello and really try to get onboard with the whole Mac thing. Just bought my new iMac 2 days ago and am still setting it all up to my liking.

How gutted was I though because of being in a hurry I forgot to mention that I wanted the numeric keyboard, now I need to go buy one separate. Also, there is a tiny half a mm scratch under the glass panel and on the actual screen. Only can see it with white backgrounds and only if you are really looking. Oh well, not quite bad enough to go through swapping it over and starting again.. Groan..

See you all about, Warezcat.

Welcome!

If you have noticed the scratch already then I would get it changed. If you don't you will keep noticing it for years to come.

Sound advice for sure, however I am lucky that I am trialling the iMac for my business and this particular machine will in about 6 months be an employees workstation. It really is soo hard to see, I shouldn't imagine anyone will be bothered by it.

Cheers for the welcome mate.

Wow not even a hello. Just a wham, bam and not even a thank you!

OP: If the scratch bothers you then I would return it.

This is Miles we're talking about!

LOL, yes, I get that now. At first I was like sh*t, was I rude in not saying hi and thanks?

It's all good, that link will surely save time and is much appreciated.
