I bought a 24" refurb iMac, and the screw on the back is already stripped inside so I cannot put new RAM in. I can turn the screw, but it is not coming out. Is this something I can contact Apple Care about? Can I bring it to the store?

If I recall correctly, the screws aren't removable, in the sense that they don't fall out when unscrewed. Is it possible that the screw is no longer imbedded in the machine, and simple traction is keeping the access door in place?
