When I'm on the internet, watching a Youtube video, scrolling down, typing...

what could be the issue?

1. Clear your browsers cache/history
2. Delete the Caches folder from username/library
3. Repair permissions

All 3 are good places to start. Try that than come back and post if you have the same problem.

Is your hard drive full?

Also, download and install iStat. You can see if your CPU or memory are maxed out.

Pauses usually come from the cpu being bogged down. This could come from memory swapping / caching issues, or the cpu is too slow. What are the specs of this iMac?

I will do the steps suggested....thanks

My HD is not full, I have a iMac Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.4 GHz, 4GB of memory, and ATI Radeon HD 2400 card.
I have iStat and I want to know how to make a screenshot of it?

Ok....clearing the Browser History seemed to fix the problem....

However, I would love to know how to screen shot the iStat results?
