Hi,
As I'm eagerly waiting for delivery of my iMac
sent me my
care details containing the serial number of my new iMac i5 quad core 2.8g.
Anyway whilst waiting I remembered (from here), that you can check build week, number etc via appleserialnumberinfo website.
Anyway I did just that and found out that the iMac I will or should I say should be getting is a week 44 build made in Cork and it was number 1121 of that week.
Great..... But here's the thing..... It also states that it's a 2.93ghz i7 iMac 27
I have checked my order details and confirmation and that says I ordered the i5 2.8ghz iMac 27 which is correct.
Should I be concerned?
I've just bought an extra 4g of ram from Crucial for the i5 and if I really do get an i7 should I tell them?
I'm confused?
On a side note my Mac is being delivered by Syncreon Technologies?
Anybody heard of them? Also can't seem to track my order via there website which is annoying and the
info on my account does not tell me much either!
Cheers now
