Hi
Out of nowhere my iMac has started to shut down unexpectedly. It started with shutting down 5 to 10 minutes once I logged in. Now, it shuts down during boot up. It doesn't even reach login.

Is there any other explanation besides faulty power supply?

I have been able to boot into recovery mode. I ran disk aid which found no problems.

Please help

Apple tried telling me I needed a new logic board and were trying to persuade me to buy a new machine! After the reset I’ve had no problems
