I have an old iMac - 27 inch late 2012, but it works fine for what I want it to do.

Last Sunday I got a Mojave update automatically and since then when my iMac goes to sleep, when I wake it it is not out of sleep, but it looks like it has rebooted - but it has not!

The login screen has my account and Guest account - normally it just shows my own account

When I pop in my password, the desktop loads as per a reboot, external devices (hard drives) appear one by one over the next second or two.

Any applications I left running start up again, they have not slept at all, in the sense they were just running in background, but start afresh.

Any thoughts?

Thanks - thought this had sorted it after a couple of reboots - but been out / come back and looks like back to before.

Thanks for replying though!!
