Imac sound card help..

hi guy, i got a logitech x540 speaker system and also bought a headphone jack to 2 female headphone jack for connecting 2 of the cables, what channel sound would i get? and would it be better to use matrix mode?

If you plug in the front and rear speakers, you'll get 2x Stereo - i.e. 2ch stereo sound played in both the front and rear.

Matrix mode would be better.
