Does such a thing exist where I can mount some speaker scoops to redirect sound forward from the bottom of the iMac? I recall these existed for iPads a while ago. I find the audio quality to be very deep and muffled but if I hold my hands below it to redirect the sound, it's much more clear and balanced.
 
I don't think I have ever seen anything like that.

However, you might be able to make one from a small venetian blind slat cut to length and attached at the back with adhesive such that it curves forward, directing the sound to the user. A 1 inch curved would do good.
