Hi guys!
I'm trying to set up my iMac to act as a multi-room audio player (No, I don't want to buy an airport express). I have my bathroom just across the corridor and I would love to be able to have some speakers in the bathroom.
The speakers (and amp) are easy enough to install for me, but I was wondering if there would be a way of having the sound fed to the external speakers (obviously out the headphone jack) at the same time as having the internal speakers on.
I know when bootcamp came out, even with headphones in the sound still came out the internal speakers; so it is possible. Maybe just a kernel extension or something...
Any help would be awesome.
