Imac SSD vs Fusion (Noise)

Hi all!
Think I'll pull the trigger on a 27 inch imac 5k soon. Was between the 2GB fusion and 512gb SSD. I sometimes do audio work and would prefer something that didn't make a lot of noise. Does the fusion make much over the SSD?

I have a macbook pro with 512gb and it is a little tight, but manageable especially with external storage. Thanks!

I never heard my 2TB fusion.

There is no audible difference between Fusion and SSD-only. I can occasionally hear the fan but never the HDD.

They're both silent. Used em both.

The 2 tb fusion is whisper quiet and obviously the SSD is too.

What is not equal is the speed, if you're deciding between the two, there is no question.

The experience is soo much better on the 512 SSD.
