Is Sleep Mode supposed to stop the Mac playing notification sounds, ringing if open apps like Skype are called, etc?
This morning I came downstairs to realise my iMac (Retina, Intel) was playing a podcast I had paused yesterday - just an MP3 in Chrome web-player. I have a feeling Chrome somehow reloaded, or maybe I had an internet glitch, but it was 1 hour in.
I tend to have this podcast playing every day at work and just pause it in Chrome, but this never happened before.
My iMac is password protected and my assumption was Sleep meant... well that it was asleep and not doing anything... if it starts doing this when I'm not around nobody else is going to be able to stop it without the password!
Can anyone educate me what Sleep does and does not mean?
