I've been searching the site for a good hour now. I have a 2010 imac 21.5. I really want to get a second monitor and also connect it to my TV. Is this possible?

I'd want to connect the tv via HDMI, but I could connect via the standard cable.
The same for the other monitor.

What adapters would I need?

Thanks.

Would you want to use the TV and 2nd display simultaneously?

Maybe some kind of A/V switcher to go between the TV and 2nd display so they can share the Mini-DisplayPort output?

For triple monitor the Matrox options sounds good.

For dual monitor plus TV, that could work as well,
or just a 2nd monitor plus there was a device + software that would use wifi to send to a box beside the TV. Check out Macworld news ..

For the Matrox, be sure to check the resolution of the monitor and the TV as well as the screen size. Also I thought I should mention that they have to be next to each other. So your iMac cannot be in the middle, if that's what you wanted.

USB adapters aren't a bad option as long as you don't plan on watching video on that monitor/TV and only plan on keeping text on that monitor with minimal window movements. Be sure to get the latest 195 Chip, http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-BVU19...BW4S/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1296336023&sr=8-7

This YouTuber I saw yesterday has the same product. Click Here

Okay the matrox is a bad idea.

I'll probably get the USB adapter then. Thanks.
