I have two iMacs- one is turning on and the other is not turning on. Both of them are M1 2021 models. Both of them have their original power adapters.

1. (Turns on)-iMac uses the 143 power adapter A2290 with the ethernet port. This adapter has the white cable coming from the power brick.

2. (Not turning on)- iMac uses 143 power adapter A2388 without the ethernet port. This adapter has a blueish cable coming from the power brick.

#1 iMac + A2290 (power)= Computer turns on
#1 iMac + A2388 (power)= Computer turns on

#2 iMac + A2290 = Computer turns on
#2 iMac + A2388 = Computer DOESN'T turn on

Now, I have take the same power adapter (A2388) and connect it to another iMac, of the same model and year, then it works. For some reason I can't figure out why the #2 iMac is not turn on with the original (A2388) power adapter.

It is a weird thing. I took another power adapter (A2290) from a different iMac (same model and year) and this Mac in question is working and turning on.
