I'm trying to make my Imac display on my tv. Would I be correct in thinking that I could use a Mini display port->DVI, DVI->HDMI adapter, then HDMI cable to my tv? Would this display in HD?

Yes, that will work. There are MDP to HDMI adapters as well. What inputs does your TV have? It may have DVI or VGA so you wouldn't have to use HDMI

If the TV supports and displays content in HD, then yes, this should work.

Here is a guide on How to: Connect a MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro to a TV
, which includes the iMac, as it uses the same video output.

There are also miniDisplayPort to HDMI adapters, for example at www.monoprice.com

But know, there are many HD TV resolutions, not just 720p and 1080p/i.
Many mass producers of HDTVs sell their products as HD ready, even though it only has a maximum display resolution of 1368 x 768 or something similar.

My tv supports 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. It has VGA and HDMI inputs. From what I understand, VGA is not HD. I already have a DVI->HDMI adapter, and I believe the mini display->DVI are easier to find locally.

Then MDP to DVI is better. HDMI should give a better quality too, but no audio though

VGA will support 1920x1080 (1080p) resolution but it looks a bit rubbish compared to HDMI/DisplayPort/DVI

One last question. How do I get an Itunes video full screen on the tv? I drag the video over, click fullscreen, then the tv goes black, and it begins to play in fullscreen on the computer. With my other browser based videos, just dragging and clicking fullscreen works.
