Was there a recent iMac update on processors? I was just looking on the website and all iMacs said "new". Just curious. I don't recall seeing the "new" last week when I was comparing models.

The late 2015 iMacs are already using the latest Skylake processors, and I haven't seen any indication of an update on Apple's site or elsewhere. The "New" tag has probably been there since October.

Thanks, that makes sense. Like I said I just didn't notice it the other day nor was I looking for it either.

To be specific, the 27" model is using Skylake CPUs. The 21" models are still on Broadwell.

Hi everyone. The latest update for imac's 27' was in october 2015. Theres is any news ou any "Preditction" an update
soon? For example an midle 2016 version? I'm about to buy one imac 27. My doubt is, should i buy it now ou there a new uptade to be release next months?

We might see the iMac 21" move to Skylake sooner rather than later, but I don't see the 27" getting an update until late this year and then likely only USB-C (and maybe Thunderbolt 3).
