My wife's iMac is about a year old. Still on OS10.5.7 so I went to update the software and after it loaded everything in, it restarted but got stuck at a white screen. I'm thinking to myself, "Maybe I should've put snow leopard on it first but the updates shouldn't do that, right? So I now at the place where I've got the Snow Leopard disk in the iMac but can't get it out. All I can do is shut it down or start it up but it only gets as far as the chime, then the white screen. If anyone knows about this, I'd be grateful. Thanks!
