Hi Folks!
I'm a newbie here so please have pity.

I'm sold and about to get the i7 27" machine. I have a great iMac now 24" and while I have searched and searched wonder if I can use the old iMac as a second monitor and still use the drives without VNC software. I currently have 2 displays one Dell 24" to my iMac but would rather use the two iMacs.
I apologize for asking a repeated question but I have looked.
Just want to be sure as all I have found is No you can't do it. Figure this is the best place to ask :)
Thanks
Gordy

http://www.screenrecycler.com/ScreenRecycler.html, as you can't use the 24" iMac as an external monitor out of the box.

If you network both with a Gigabit Ethernet cable and enable File Sharing on the 24", you can have access to your internal HDD without much hassle.
