iMac video problem

I recently purchased Oblivion for the computer. I installed Windows on my computer. Then I installed Oblivion. When I go to run it, it says, " nitailize renderer NiXAdapterDesc: :GetDeviceCaps() failed"

I have a Radeon ATI x1600 video card. What could I do to get Oblivion running?
