iMac Viewing Angle... The best it can get?

hey i got a refurbished imac 24" white one ( <3 Matte

anyways, i did the lagon viewing angle test and i was wondering if its ok for an IPS panel to have a SLIGHT gray change from top to bottom... is not that noticable in the picture and its WAYY better than my dell 24" TN panel (not the ultrasharp)
my camera can barely take the pic... i took the pic w/ no flash too

and as for the backlight bleeding, theres a SLIGHT backlight bleeding around the edges too.. again not as bad as the ones that i have previously seen (even compared to some bad cinemas :O )but again, is it possible for an iMac to have ZERO backlight bleeding?

and as for the side viewing, when my background and safari is there, it slightly turns bluish/purpleish... i unno if im tripping out but for a good IPS panel, there sould be no change at all though right?

Can't help you on your angle issue, but I was wondering if Apple hooked up your refurb with ram or just gave you the standard 1GB?

no i did not get lucky.. ): i got everything as described... 1 gb ram, 250 gb hd, 128mb gpu, etc...

ok, i called applecare and they said id have to go into the store to get it checked

i was wondering what your guys's experiences were when trying to explain the blacklight bleeding... do the genious's actually know these problems?

and because mine is a refurbish, how would they give me a replace one?

no monitor is perfect, in fact my last LCD was WAY worse than the imac display (24" new alu), but i never noticed the difference.

unless this is for pro use or some special necessity, just forget about tests and results and just use and enjoy the monitor. you will only notice flaws after you find them in the results.
