Hey guys!

So first off I got this iMac from a friend that was not working on and the screen was completely broken(see attached photos)

I recently tried to see if I could fix this and use it as a everyday desktop!
PROBLEM is I have no idea what I’m doing!

So I got the screen out and saw that a green light was coming on at the logic board(see attached photo) I also connected it to a external screen but still it’s blank

WHEN I PRESS THE POWER ON BUTTON I DONT HEAR THE CHIME BUT WHEN I PRESS IT A NEXT GREEN LIGHT BLINKS!

PLEASE COULD SOMEONE HELP ME IN FIXING THIS!

2nd blinking light could imply one of two issues with your iMac commonly. This could be a RAM issue (which would be a problem since it looks like you have a 21.5" 2015? iMac w/ soldered on RAM).
OR it could be your power supply.

And your LCD would not be repairable. I've tried and looked so hard to look for repairs for the glass on the LCDs but I've never had any success..

Quick edit: Try unplugging the headphone/mic on the bottom right of the board, and also try removing your airport card on the top right to see if you have any success with it turning on.
