I have a question about Core 2 Duo White iMacs. There is an upgrade to make the iMac use Wireless N, but is this a firmware upgrade?

Can one install Leopard and already have access to the Wireless N feature? Or does Apple offer a firmware download?

Thanks!

I don't think its a firmware update. Its an update that comes with the Apple Airport router our you can get it online from the apple store for 1.99$

Well, what if the iMac came with Tiger? It would need the update to use the Wireless N. But what about if Leopard is installed on there? Does the update still need to be purchased even though Leopard is the newest OS?
