Hey guys so I've been using Windows on my Mac for a few months now with bootcamp and it's been going great, I love it.

However today I was doing some graphics work using photoshop and I kept getting notifications about memory and that I should close photoshop to free up memory and not lose my work, I had the message pop up for around 10 seconds then my Mac just turned off, now I've been getting to the login screen fine and even logged in but after logging in it'll flicker a few times then just completely die and go black, is there anyway at all to fix this issue????

Please help guys!

I've been having similar issues with my 2009 27" 2.8 i7 iMac. I don't use Bootcamp, though. Tried removing RAM modules (no new ones, just different combinations of what I already have), still happens. Booted in Safe Mode, still happens. I'm thinking GFX card, but I'm going to open her up, look for any issues, dust, etc. try again, then maybe do a clean install of Sierra, just for fun. I'll let you know what I find out. Curious to hear if you've solved it.

I agree that it sounds like a graphics card issue, that's why I wanted the OP to specify what system they had before I speculated on the problem.

With my mid-2011, 27" iMac I was able to boot into safe mode and was able to install Sierra. After that things got dicey. Try using target disk mode to see if you can access your drives. If you can I suspect the computer is still good and the graphics adapter has failed.

I did the "oven bake" method of reviving my graphics card and am typing on the same computer now. I don't know how long the "fix" will work, but the total cost was around $15.00, not including the monitor cable I mangled.
