I put my imac to sleep while I am not using it, but when it resumes from sleep the wireless does not work until I disable wireless and enable it again.

I am connecting to one of the older airport express base stations.

Any idea whats going on here ?

Not sure if I have the same issues as you but my iMac all of a sudden has started dropping its wireless connection. Every 30 secs or so it drops, it then either reconnects after 10 secs or I have to choose my network from the available connections.

There is only my connection in the vicinity, occassionally I see another so I thought I'd change the channel on the router but still no luck.

I don't why all of a sudden it would have started doing this. I installed some software updates recently such as Safari etc but I don't know what else. Anyway I can find out?

I'm on Leopard with all the latest updates, 24" 3.06GHz, 4GB RAM.

Any ideas? ?Its driving me nuts

Wireless Drops Out

I am using a MacBook Pro and I am experiencing the same syptoms as 'covertsurfer'. If I connect to the hub using a cable I get perfect connection. IBM's. iPhone, etc never drop out when using the same hub wirelessly.

If anyone has a solution to this problem I would really like to know.

Looks like there is a similar thread here.

Has Apple released something in their updates which is causing this issue?

This brings me back to the belief that Wireless is flaky as hell.
