Hi
I have an Apple iMac 27" unit, I purchased the BT Vision package (UK TV) expecting to use its RF out to go to my USB TV dongle and watch TV on my iMac. It turns out that the latest BT Vision boxes do not allow you to watch TV On demand or recorded TV through RF Out ( pity the sign up procedure didn't make that clear, apparantly the silver BT Vision boxes did do this, but not the new black versions ). So I went out and purchased a Kanex XD convertor which converts HDMI into Apple display port (but only supports 720p). When I hook everything up I only get sound and no vision, I'm assuming it's because the BT Vision box is outputting in 1080i. I tried to speak to tech support on how to switch the BT Vision box into 720 with no joy. Has anyone out there tried this before ? I am hoping some kind soul can tell me the steps to change the BT Vision box into 720p, bearing in mind I can't see the menus to change settings so it would have to be counting remote clicks to get to right settings.
Many thanks
