Hey guys I just upgraded to snow leopard on my 3 year old imac. It gave me a install failed messege and told me to restart. i did and then it turns on to the gray screen and goes off. Turn it on again, goes off. Can anyone help me fix this?

Did you back up your computer before performing the upgrade?

It sounds like the update corrupted your OS so what you need to do is re-install the OS. If you have a current back up of your data you can erase your internal drive install Snow Leopard fresh and then migrate your data to the new install. If you did not back up you can try booting from the DVD and doing a re-install of your OS and see if that allows it to boot.
