Not sure if its just my other display but my iMac display just seems very yellow. I have it hooked up with a 26 inch LCD HDTV which of course is bright but the white is actually white while looking at my imac its yellow. My roommates iMac a 24 inch core 2 duo is white and clean. Is it because my display is 2 years old? I have applecare for another year is this something that needs to be fixed or is it It normal?

Im running a core duo 1.8 ghz 17" imac but as im typing this everything is just yellow in tint.

If you still have AppleCare call them up and see if they can walk you thru changing some settings to fix it. If not maybe you can send it in for repairs.

Whites should appear as white on your screen.

My 24" iMac looks great, except for the corners. The very tips of the corners on the top of the display are yellow compared to the rest. Its not much of an issue since it is only in the status bar, but at the same time it is annoying. Sometimes it is worse, and sometimes it is better.

They display is calibrated the right way (and not through the little calibration app apple gives you), and I do professional photography work on it.
