iMac8,1 RAM help

I am looking to update the RAM on my iMac but unsure what the maximum RAM i can go up to and where to buy from. Im in the UK.

I was looking at upgrading to 4GB but not sure what part i need to get, any links, info would be great
Sorry if this has been answered before.

My spec
iMac8,1
2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM

You will find two methods of use

1) System scanner and ram recommendation

2) System selection and recommendation

Both do the same thing really....
I believe they also give some instruction of how to upgrade the ram, but I also think their are other sites that give good step by step guides.

Think iclarified may be one - but can't remember
