iMacPro 5K and external 5K resolution

Hi,

Please see the attached image. My iMacPro has an external monitor, the Dell 5K. Both iMacPro's display and the external one have exactly the same resolution (5120x2880 native). However, the resolutions I can choose from the displays system preference are different. There are many more options listed for the external one, but not the iMacPro 5K one.

Is there any way I can use the 3360x1890 or 3840x2160 scaled resolutions for my iMacPro 5K display? 3200x1800 is a bit too small for me, and then 5120x2880 is too much.

I dont know why that would be, but you can specify whatever resolutions you want with the app SwitchResX

Thanks. Unfortunately its price is a bit high for what it does. I will give it a try first.
