iMac's display gone sour

I still have a G3 lying around. My mom used it when she first switched, but now she has the top of the line 24". I will periodically turn the old bugger on now and then, but today, I turned it on for the first time in almost a month, and the display has gone south. For instance, anything white will be outlined in blue on the left and red on the right. Ive seen TVs do that, but never one of our trio of G3's. What can I do?
