Image Capture not recognizing Scanner

Hey guys, I have an HP all-in-one printer/scanner combo, and I have it connected to my airport express. Printing works wonderfully. Now I am trying to get the scanner working.

I tried using Image Capture to see if it recognizes the scanner, but it doesn't. I have the scanner option on the printer on, and I tried looking for it in the devices pane of Image Capture, but to no avail.

Any ideas on how I can get my scanner to scan images into Image Capture?

Anyone have any ideas? I've tried searching the forum, and scrounging the internets , but I have come up with any solution thus far.
