Image Capture working erratically since iOS 5 and 10.7.2 upgrade with Iphone 4 and Macbook Pro.....

Just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the Image Capture program since the iOS5 and 10.7.2 upgrades?

The image capture program/feature isn't working normally. When the Iphone 4 is plugged, the Image Capture program does not recognize/see the iphone 4 as a device or the photos on the camera roll. However, if you unplug the iphone4 several times, it then recognizes it.

Is the same thing happening on with the Iphone 4S?

Neither iPhone Nor Scanner Working

Yes! This is driving me crazy too. Neither my iPhone 4 is picked up by Image Capture nor iPhoto and my scanner has stopped working as well. I was thinking of deleting Image Capture and replacing it with a copy from the Lion Installer package, but Lion won't let me delete from the Finder. My go via Terminal as super user, but a little afraid of making things worse.

Actually, this started with me before the iOS 5/10.7.2 upgrade—about a month ago.
