So I have this great photo of a sunset, but right next to the disc of the sun, there is this bright white spot that is actually a reflecting cloud. Anyways, I would like tog et rid of that fragment. Whenever I use the smear tool in Seashore, it makes a kind of dark stain wherever I use it (NOT something that I got with GIMP on Windoze.)

Blurring the whole circle of the sun doesn't really work because it makes the sun look unrealistic. Is there a way of just expanding the disc of the sun to cover the blemish and at the same time make the sun bigger?

Much thanks. In the meantime I'll try to figure out how to post images online to show you guys. :)

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Here it is!

Making the sun bigger would take time. But how about just erasing the white mark?

Wait, is there a healing brush in Seashore? I'd kind of like to do it myself on the original quality file. :)

Thanks for all the help people!
