First I'd like to say hello to everyone.. I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

So, I'm new to Mac and Aperture - Been about a week total with both.

My question is as follows..

When I view my images online they look like crap!

Now, I've tried the following. I have uploaded them using the 'best' setting from Aperture and the images looked soft when viewed with a web browser (IE, FF and Safari) - I then uploaded them using 'high' quality and the images actually looked better. I'm now at work viewing the images and they look horrible, very pixelated with jagged edges etc.. These images are definitely high-resolution images (the images I'm working with in Aperture) and I understand that the Web Galleries function will downsize them but - Why do they look so bad on the best setting?

Thanks for your help.

Just in case this helps as I've had no replies..

The same photos exported from Aperture and imported to iWeb and then uploaded are awesome looking.

Tried it again simply uploading straight from Aperture to Web Galleries and the photos look horrible on the Best Quality setting..
