Image quality on 3G iPad on o2 sim

Before I got the 3G I was using my wifi iPad with mywi which worked fine but the images were not sharp and looked a bit pixalated.

Now I have the 3G iPad and the images look the same using the o2 service.

Does anyone have this or how does it compare to the other services, vodafone, 3, orange etc.

Ok thanks for that, so I presume they do optimise the images, and all the providers will do this?

I used to have this problem with my vodafone 3G stick and also on my iPhone a while ago. It seems that our mobile providers were recompressing images in an effort to reduce bandwidth consumption even more. I haven't noticed this in the last few months. There was a keyboard shortcut in windows (shift and s I think) and refreshing the page would show the originals image. I don't think you'll be able to do anything about it for the moment, unless you used a VPN or something

I used this fix on my o2 iPhone. I use Vodafone on my iPad, but perhaps this'll solve your O2 iPad compression issue?
