MP 1,1-5,1 Image shifted using DisplayPort to VGA adapter

Hi, the DVI input broke on my monitor. In the meantime I’m waiting for my new monitor to arrive so I’m using a DisplayPort to vga adapted hooked up on my RX 580.
the thing is that the log in screen looks like it at 1024*768 and when I log in and change the resolution to 1080p it squeezes the image and I get a black bar on the left. Any help would be welcome.

You forgot that there are settings on the monitor to adjust the picture geometry?

Jajaja. Yes, already tried that and it’s pulled to the maximum horizontal setting.
