I've searched for the life of me and literally cannot find any information on this.
I have a jailbroken iPhone 5s and yesterday my iphone started to not display the full sized images in texts. I can see the preview, but when I tap it to see it full screen, it just shows what type of image it is and the size of it. I've done a hard reset, reset everything, reset network settings, restarted and nothing has worked. Below is the image it's showing when I try to view it. Anyone have any tips on how to fix this? Because my next option is to just restore my phone..

Is this the stock messaging app? Do you have any tweaks or such related to messages?

Does the problem still occur for new MMS?

It's the stock messaging app, I tried bitesms to see if it would solve the problem and it still persists. Also I don't have any tweaks to pertain to the messaging app. At least I don't think so

Does the problem persist with new incoming MMS?

Browse to var/mobile/library/SMS

Back up everything inside that folder on your computer just in case

Now delete everything except SMS.db and respring

Check if new incoming MMS work now

Nope, did not work.

Nada, still getting the same issue. :/

Then it doesn't seem to be a mobilesubstrate tweak causing this. There is a chance that a tweak hard changed some file and caused this problem

Did you restore from a backup?

My suggestion is that you restore and rejailbreak while you still have the chance too (if you can't fix the problem) make sure 7.0.4 is still being signed before proceeding with a restore!!!!!

Restored, it fixed it, but now when I receive an image it just says downloading and nothing happens..

Also when my phone is restarted, it does this now. So no pictures are shown. At all

Try a clean restore and don't restore from backup?

Unfortunately had to do a full restore to fix it. Still trying to figure out what caused it in the first place. I have all the same tweaks installed now again and no problems. Could using iCleaner have caused some disruption in the file system?

i don't think so. i use it from time to time and haven't had a problem

most people that i see that get this problem come from restoring from a backup. i always start as new whenever i restore/upgrade to jailbreak

I never restore from a backup. Just hope it does not happen again. Would have been nice though to know what caused it.
