Hi there,

herp games' new educational app is out!

Imagine the Scale takes you on a fascinating journey through the relative size of things in our universe. You can fly from the dimension of one billion light years to the smallest atom.

Experience the proportions of things many orders of magnitude away from what we commonly experience.

Starting from the size of everyday objects like a coffee bean, you can zoom in to the smallest molecules of the atomic universe and compare the size of each single item. You can also take the different direction and zoom out to compare the size of stars and planets until you reach the end of the observable universe.

*erm*..since this post was completely ignored.

Am I in the wrong place? Are there designated "shameless advertising" sections in the forum? I could not find one. Sorry, I am new here.

And: is there a way to embed youtube videos in the post?

Thank you.

Ah, ok thank you. So at least I was in the right place, but simply noone cared. Great :)

And can someone tell me how to embed videos? I could find absolutely nothing about it on the forums and in the faq.

You can't embed youtube videos, but your app looks pretty damn slick!

Thank you.

Maybe someone has some ideas which new objects should make it into the game?

If so, just post it here. It is important that there is an interesting & not so common fact or twist with the object.

Imaginary example (which would make a great fact if it were true):

Object: A Tree, Fact: Trees grow 10 ft per second under vacuum

I will try to integrate the new objects into the next version.

That's pretty cool. I'm thinking it might be interesting to be able to add you own things into the "flow" - like the size of your house, business, etc...

That sounds like a really intereseting idea ksmith80209. Custom objects with the photos on the iPhone.

I'll add it to the features list for one of the next versions.

Hello again,

I made a new free version. So everyone can check it out before he/she buys the app.
