Hello everyone,

I'm the developer of the word puzzle game Imangi. We just released version 2.0 of the game over the weekend. This is a major release for us and includes some awesome new features:

1) Speed Imangi
2) Daily Challenge
3) Friend Challenge
4) Online High Scores
5) German, French, Italian, and Russian Word Lists were added

Enjoy the game! As always, we appreciate any feedback!

Love the app, and it keeps getting better.

I haven't explored too much of the new features as I am working on playing the challenge game. Having a hard time coming close to the #1 score :)

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the updates!

I have to admit that while I felt Imangi was really cool and clever at first, after a while I got a bit bored with it. After all, there was no time limit and you were just sort of playing for yourself -- which doesn't give you much incentive to keep continuing. But with the addition of the speed, daily and friend challenges, it's gotten WAAAAY more interesting! Now I find myself playing this app a LOT more. I love word games in general, and this one is just so unique.

Thanks again!

Hey all, I'm the other Imangi developer.

I'm glad you're enjoying the game! It's actually funny - Imangi really started as a speed game when Keith first wrote it up, but it was just WAY too hard and stressful, and I liked it better as an untimed game. Now I can see that a time limit really adds a lot to the game, and the two modes appeal to different people. It's been a great learning experience.

Thanks for all the feedback! Keep it coming :)

Having the different options is great. I think if it was JUST a speed game, that would have made the game very limited too. This way, there are different games to suit my moods. When I want a fast-paced challenge, I 'll do a speed game. When I want to just relax and test how many words I can make on a single board, I'll go with the regular version.

The first version was really rushed to get it out the door for the store launch, so we weren't able to include everything we wanted. This version more accurately reflects our original vision. We are very proud of what we've accomplished so far :)

There are a few other things we'd still like to do with Imangi. One thing that is still unfinished is the additional language support. We were able to include word lists for English, German, French, Italian, and Russian in this release, but we haven't yet finished translating the interface. We've started working on it, but we only work with English and Russian native speakers. Anyone interested in helping us translate the interface to other languages? We'd be happy to translate / proof-read your apps for English or Russian in return.

Thanks,

-Keith

To the Developer

I'm surprised that this hasn't caught on more in the app store. This really a polished, beautiful, challenging game. I hope that word spreads, you deserve to succeed with this game. It was great before the update. After...it's just plain addicting!!

Thank you ThanatosId, I really appreciate the kind words! Ars Technica just did a very positive review of Imangi 2.0 hopefully that will help us get noticed more. Very exciting!
