Just noticed this a couple of days after installing the GM seed via Software Update on both my iPhone 6s and my iPad Mini 3... It seems that the message list in the Mail.app will only display 150 messages for any folder within an IMAP account. Previously, if you scrolled to the oldest message in the list, Mail would then request another 150 messages from the server, etc. Now, I can only see 150 --- and cant get the phone to load any more.

In case anyone suggests it -- the "Mail Days To Sync" setting is an Exchange option -- and not available on IMAP.

Also, these are IMAP accounts set up as "Other" (i.e. not Google, Yahoo, or AOL accounts)

Anyone else notice this?

Rick

Now that more people have iOS 10 installed -- who else is having an issue with this? I already heard from one friend that's running into the same limitation with his IMAP account showing a maximum of 150 messages per folder and no ability to load more messages from the server.

Is this true for iCloud email accounts, also?

Well, I hadnt had iCloud mail enabled on my iPhone, but I do have it enabled on my Mac... I had 211 unread email messages there, and a total of 211 on the Mac. On the iPhone, I enabled it -- and I only see the most recent 150 messages.. Cant scroll down and load more than that with the iCloud account either.

And -- the iPhone does show "211 Unread" at the bottom. You just cant see all 211, nor will it load them by scrolling to the end. I tried deleting some messages, and that did allow it to load more -- but no more than 150 total at one time.

So, yeah.
