IMAP is not available for your account (Failure) while using gmail

anybody get this?

I cant access email and it does not work through neither wifi nor Edge

Imap was always enabled. I was on my way home and the last time the phone checked the gmail account was at 3:17pm. Afterwards it would give me the message mentioned above

I did a restore on the computer and everything is back to normal. To those who have problems do a restore and the problem should be solved

I have IMAP with GMail and no problems here.

I have been receiving email today also.

GMail IMAP was actually down. Mail.app on my Macs also stopped synchronising, although e-mail was still available via Web browsers.
